The NAEGA National Conference is a key event for adult guidance practitioners.
The event offers an intensive programme centering on new developments in policy and practice affecting all adult guidance practitioners.
"I especially liked the posters – makes for a very open conference"

NAEGA Conference 2011
The format of this years conference Improving Future Practice has been developed to include discussion on policy, the new National Careers Service in England and the implications for practitioners and how to survive in these times of change as well as a range of special interest sessions focussing on professional and personal development.
You will be able to attend three from a choice of nine special interest sessions which are relevant to your own area of professional practice.
NAEGA AGM
The AGM will be held on Monday 17th October at 17.15 and all delegates are encouraged to come along, get involved and have your voice heard. Non-members have been accorded membership for 2011/12 as part of their registration for the conference and as such are welcome to attend. This is your chance to have your say in the future of the association.
Promotional Opportunities
For organisations wishing to introduce their services or products we offer a variety of opportunities to suit all budgets, or the chance to build a dedicated package specifically to meet your objectives. For further information on sponsorship and support opportunities please contact Eleanor at naega@emmm.co.uk
Propose a poster or exhibit
There will be an opportunity at the conference to disseminate information and ideas about selected initiatives and continuing professional development.
Posters should give delegates an insight into work undertaken and its impact on service delivery or policy development and will be hung throughout the Conference in the main exhibition area and coffee hub, they should:
- Give a flavour of their author’s work
- Outline main points clearly and concisely in a readily accessible format
- Clearly state author and subject
- Avoid too dense text
- Maximum size acceptable is A1 (flip chart size).
It would be advisable to augment posters with a handout although there will be no facility to display these other than as a part of the poster.
If you would like to propose a poster or to exhibit please send a short summary or outline to Eleanor at naega@emmm.co.uk (clearly marked POSTER PROPOSAL) by 10th September 2011 and we will confirm arrangements by email.
