The spring conference will be held at the Beaumont Estate set three miles from historic Windsor in beautiful countryside and is less than 30 miles from the centre of London. It lies close to the Thames on the historic road from Staines to Windsor near Runnymede. It is 10 minutes from two railway stations and close to the M3, M4, M25 and 15 minutes from Heathrow. It offers extensive free parking and a leisure centre.
With a history dating back to the 14th century It was originally known as Remenham, but renamed Beaumont in 1751 by the Duke of Roxburghe who bought it for his eldest son the Marquis of Beaumont who was then a boy at Eton. In 1786, the first Governor-General of India, acquired Beaumont Lodge at the cost of £12,000. It was a Jesuit training centre form 1805 until 1967 after which it was developed by a series of companies as a conference venue.

The venue for the conference dinner will be the Chapel which was originally built in 1870. Converted to a storage area and largely forgotten during its time as a computer training centre, the chapel was rediscovered following a conversation with a former pupil early this century. It was restored by Principal Hayley in 2008. The impressive rose window, which is a replacement of the original destroyed by a doodlebug during the war, is said to be the inspiration for the chapel in Waugh's Brideshead Revisited.
